Adriana Diasandi Mendoza
Adriana Diasandi is Research Operations Manager at the Illinois Institute for Rehabilitation and Employment Research (IIRER) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She joined the team in April 2024.
She is an industrial and systems engineer with a background in category management and inventory refill and distribution at Nestlé. Additionally, she has experience in event planning from her previous work at a startup in New York. There, she helped establish protocols, maximize profitability through product management strategies and develop workflows. Adriana excels in process documentation and optimization of logistical processes.
Educated in Mexico City, Adriana is bilingual and passionate about diverse and inclusive environments. Outside of work, she enjoys nature, dogs and spending time with her 2-year-old daughter.
