Chun-Lung Lee
Chun-Lung Lee, Ph.D., serves as research evaluation specialist and biostatistician for the Illinois Institute for Rehabilitation and Employment Research (IIRER) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He is responsible for conducting an evaluation of three grant-funded projects: (1) Subminimum Wage to Competitive Integrated Employment for Illinoisans with Disabilities (SWTCIE Illinois); (2) Pathways to Partnerships: Improving Transition Outcomes of Illinois Students with Disabilities; and (3) Vocational Rehabilitation Technical Assistance Center for Quality Employment (VRTAC-QE).
Previously, during doctoral studies at Michigan State University (MSU), Chun-Lung worked for Project Excellence, a grant-supported initiative and partnership between Michigan Rehabilitation Services and MSU Office of Rehabilitation and Disability Studies. In this job, his responsibilities included data analysis (such as RSA-911 Case Service Report) & research support (like clinical study design and evidence-based research) for program evaluation and assessment of state vocational rehabilitation (VR) services/outcomes for people with disabilities.
Chun-Lung is currently studying how to promote evidence-based paradigms in the VR research settings, and how to assess rehabilitation measures in ensuring data integrity. His research interests also include development of an instrument/toolkit to measure quality employment (via the International Classification of Functioning framework); and scale construction to assess career counseling competencies (using the Illinois Work and Well-Being Model).
