
Grace Armon
Grace Armon is a research support specialist for the Illinois Institute for Rehabilitation and Employment Research at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Prior to joining the team, she received her Master of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health from University of Minnesota. As a research assistant, she coordinated the Bright Spots Qualitative Mini-Lab, which supports qualitative and mixed methods research for public health practitioners, and the 2024 Minnesota Women’s Health Report Card in partnership with the Minnesota Department of Health. Before starting graduate school, Grace lived in Cologne and Jena, Germany as a member of the 39th cohort of the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals program, where she volunteered for a local cancer society and interned with a rural telehealth agency. Her interests lie in place effects on health, especially in rural vs. urban settings and between urban neighborhoods.
